The BRITs Apprentice Scheme will give ten young people from England and Wales a unique, high quality, paid opportunity to work at a top independent record label or music company, learn about the recorded music industry, receive practical 'hands on' experience, develop relevant skills and make key contacts.
Apprenticeships are an important way to help bring in new and diverse talent into the industry and are in line with the Government's commitment to education, skills and training.
Candidates can apply for more than one apprenticeship. However, you must submit a separate application for each role.

- Marketing & Promotions Apprentice at Believe UK, London
- Marketing Apprentice at Horus Music, Leicester
- Sales Strategy Apprentice at INGrooves, London
- Digital Marketing Apprentice at Key Production, London
- Digital Marketing Apprentice at Kudos Records, London
- Receptionist and Office Admin Apprentice at PIAS, London
- Events and Festival Apprentice at Punch Records, Birmingham
- General Team Assistant Apprentice at SupaPass, Norwich
- Digital Sales and Marketing Apprentice at Nimbus Records, Monmouth
Salary:
London based vacancies – £18,000 a year
Vacancies outside London – £15,000 a year
Future Prospects
Upon completion of the Apprenticeship and evaluation by the company's supervisors, the successful candidate may be offered a job at the end of the Apprenticeship. At the very least you will have gained a substantial work placement and training, which will stand you in good stead.

Skills Required
Each apprenticeship has its own specific skill requirements. However, all applicants must demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills must be IT literate, organisational and time management skills
Personal Qualities
In addition to any specific requirement in the job descriptions, all applicants must be able to demonstrate a passion for building a career in the music industry.
Qualification Required
All candidates must have as a minimum GCSE Maths and English at grades A-C. Please refer to individual job descriptions for further requirements.
Important Other Information
The deadline for all applications is the 17th November 2017. Applications received after this date will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Candidates shortlisted for apprenticeships based in London will be required to attend a pre-screening interview on 30th November. We encourage everyone to keep this date free.
For candidates shortlisted for regional vacancies, you will be required to partake in a video interview (e.g. Skype or Facetime) on either of the following dates: 27th, 28th, or 29th November.

About the Training
Depending on the apprenticeship opportunity you apply for, you will be working towards a Level 4 in Business and Professional Administration or, Level 3 in Digital Marketing qualification.
