Participants have opportunities for improved communication, emotional development, increased motor and sensory skills and achieving a deeper state of relaxation. Liquid Vibrations facilitates Musical Hydrotherapy sessions and provides training for schools so they can fully embed the therapy as part of their curriculum. We continue to research the benefits, both therapeutic and educational for those with profound and multiple learning difficulties
We are planning a Musical Hydrotherapy Teacher Taster session at Swiss Cottage School, Camden during April/May. The session will enable teachers to gain hands-on-experience of what Musical Hydrotherapy involves as well as learn about the expected benefits their students would gain. See below the event details:
1) Half-Day Training Session
2) £75 registration fee per participant
3) Small group numbers- no more than 16 participants allowed
4) Practical session with the aquatic movement practitioner in the hydrotherapy pool with and without underwater sound
5) Guidance on how to implement the necessary sound system and full comprehensive training programme at participant school
6) Overview of research to date and research plans for 2017/18
7) Opportunity to network with other schools and professionals interested in Musical Hydrotherapy
