Calling all young musicians!
Shropshire Youth Folk Ensemble is an opportunity for young musicians (10-18yrs) to come together to play, rehearse, perform and have fun. All instruments welcome. Ability to play some tunes is required eg. grade 2 standard upwards.

Ray and Bev Langton are well known across the country for their workshops in the Folk Arts.
Workshops include:
Music: Mini Melodeons, Ceilidh Band & Fun Percussion
Dance: Morris, Longsword & Ceilidh
Craft: Green Man Plaques, Silk Painting & Mask Making
Workshops can be tailored to meet specific school requests eg. for themed curriculum weeks and can include performance opportunities for children to present newly found skills.
