East 15 Stage Combat and Physical Skills

We are pleased to announce that East 15's Summer Schools return to our Loughton campus this August. East 15 Acting School was one of the first conservatoires to offer Summer Schools aimed at those considering going to drama school, those wanting to know more about a particular area of acting, or those wanting to brush up on their skills.

Participants aged 17 or over can book for the East 15 summer courses on-line, and take advantage of our early bird offers which are available until 31 May 2017.

East 15 is on the only drama school in the UK to offer a BA in Acting and Stage Combat. During this taster course, students will learn the basics of both unarmed combat and swordplay. The course covers the basic work practices and methodology required to progress from introduction to performance.

Students will be introduced to methods of work, safety principles, a repertoire of mechanical actions, presentation and deception, character choices and rehearsal/performance. During the course students will also be taught general physical and flexibility training, and rhythm, music and rituals.

Fee £490 (£50 discount if paid by 31 May)
