Schools Touring Assistant job opportunity at the National Theatre

The National Theatre is looking for a Schools touring assistant to join their learning department. The National Theatre is committed to touring, including into schools nationwide, and developing sustained relationships with partner theatres, schools, communities and young people. Each year, NT Learning produce a primary and secondary schools production which tours across the country into school halls. Next year, these productions will tour to schools across the country for a combined total of 20 weeks. The areas will include Sunderland, Wakefield, Doncaster, Greater Manchester, Wolverhampton, Hornchurch, along with a short run in the Dorfman Theatre for the primary school production. For thousands of young people, these shows will be their first experience of live theatre. The Schools Touring Assistant will provide administrative support for the planning, scheduling and management of both tours in spring 2022. 

The application deadline is the 30th of August (midday)

Contract type: Full-time (temporary)

Hours: 35 hours a week

Salary: £23,000 per annum
