Opportunity to bring new theatre to Edinburgh Fringe 2020

What is it?  

The Charlie Hartill Special Reserve is a designated fund to support emerging theatre-makers and comedians in bringing their work to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Each year the Theatre Reserve provides a young theatre company with 4 of more cast members with the rare and extraordinary opportunity to present a fully produced, financed production at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.  

What do you get? 

£10,000 financing from the Pleasance towards the cost of presenting your show at the festival, which includes - guaranteed programming slot at Pleasance Edinburgh and London transfer; Accommodation and Travel; Edinburgh Fringe Registration and brochure fees; PR and marketing support; Mentorship; Rehearsal, development, sharing and workspace; Support to develop and deliver accessible performances.

Who can apply?

If you're part of a theatre ensemble and have left formal education, you can apply for the Charle Hartill Special Reserve.

When?

Submissions are open from now until 10am on January 31st, 2020.
