Emerging and established artists from Barnet, London and the rest of the UK are welcome to apply for a chance to have their work displayed at artsdepot in our Apthorp Gallery. This exhibition is a great opportunity for our audiences to experience and buy a wide range of diverse and exciting artwork.
The available prizes are as follows:
artsdepot Open Prize (Barnet): A first prize of £750 and a second prize of £250 will be awarded for the two most distinguished works by artists currently living, studying or working in the London Borough of Barnet.
artsdepot Open Prize (General): Into its second year, our artsdepot Open Prize is open to all successful artists who do not live, work or study in the London Borough of Barnet. A prize of £500 will be awarded for the distinguished artwork selected as best representing artsdepot’s passion for creativity and originality by our prestigious panel of arts professionals.
Young Artist Prize: This is awarded to an artist aged 13 - 19 years old and is open to all young artists eager to experience having work displayed in a professional gallery setting.
To submit work: Download the Submission Form and Terms & Conditions. These documents are also available from our Box Office between 10am - 4pm, Monday to Saturday.
Submission fee: £10 per work for adults, £3 per work for Young Artists, with a maximum of three submissions per artist. If you have not heard anything regarding your submission by 6pm Friday 22 June then unfortunately you have not been successful. Please note that we are unable to give feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
