Emerging and established artists from Barnet, London and the rest of the UK are welcome to apply for a chance to have their work displayed at artsdepot in our Apthorp Gallery. This exhibition is a great opportunity for our audiences to experience and buy a wide range of diverse and exciting artwork.
The available prizes are as follows:
artsdepot Open Prize (Barnet): A first prize of £750 and a second prize of £250 will be awarded for the two most distinguished works by artists currently living, studying or working in the London Borough of Barnet.
artsdepot Open Prize (General): Into its second year, our artsdepot Open Prize is open to all successful artists who do not live, work or study in the London Borough of Barnet. A prize of £500 will be awarded for the distinguished artwork selected as best representing artsdepot’s passion for creativity and originality by our prestigious panel of arts professionals.
Young Artist Prize: This is awarded to an artist aged 13 - 19 years old and is open to all young artists eager to experience having work displayed in a professional gallery setting.
To submit work: Download the Submission Form and Terms & Conditions. These documents are also available from our Box Office between 10am - 4pm, Monday to Saturday.
Submission fee: £10 per work for adults, £3 per work for Young Artists, with a maximum of three submissions per artist.
