Wind or brass player and want to have fun and improve?

If you have played a wind or brass instrument in the past and you want to get going again then come and join us!

Harmonie is a symphonic wind band, based in South Essex (Rayleigh), and we have been playing music for the local Essex and surrounding community since 1976. We currently have around 50 members who meet each week to rehearse in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

We perform around 10 concerts per year, many in aid of local charities, and have a very wide music repertoire, with something to suit most musical tastes. This includes classics, popular and light music, marches, and music from films and West-end shows, as well as more demanding works written or arranged specifically for wind band.

Many of our concerts are in South Essex, ranging from Thorpe Bay to Romford, and north as far as Colchester, though we will travel to other destinations as well.

You can find out more about us on this site, including projects we have been involved in and planned concerts. You can also find us on Facebook. If you're a musician, and play a wind instrument (or percussion!) why not join us? Harmonie Concert Band rehearses on Wednesday nights and we welcome new players (no auditions). Or if you would like us to play at your event or venue, please contact us on enquiries AT harmonie DOT org DOT uk
