Applications for the Next Choreography 2016-17 course open 11 June 2016. Invited applicants will attend a selection event on 19 or 21 July 6pm–8pm.
Next Choreography 2016/17 runs in term time from September–July on Thursday evenings.
Next Choreography, a yearlong programme by Siobhan Davies Dance for 14—21 year olds, stimulates new ways of thinking about the choreographic processes used across artistic disciplines.
Led by choreographer Charlotte Spencer, the weekly sessions offer a mixed programme including taking part in choreographic workshops with guest artists, attending performances and visiting exhibitions.
Over the year participants explore making their own work and curate and produce a youth choreographic festival at Siobhan Davies Studios. Participants are also offered the opportunity to achieve Arts Award qualifications.
