No experience is necessary. They're looking for is someone with a passion for creativity, communities and a willingness to give new things a try.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to grow their experience in working with young people, families and communities in creative arts settings. This creative and practical apprenticeship is the ideal first step towards a career in community work, museums, theatre or heritage.
As part of your apprenticeship, you'll learn on the job how to plan, organise and co-ordinate education and community engagement projects. We'll give you plenty of support and expert tuition with off and on the job training and opportunities. They will endeavour to support your development in a focused area of the arts if applicable.
The Apprenticeship lasts for 18 months to 2 years and we will keep you in post for a further year after you have successfully gained your qualification.
They are flexible in approach when the successful candidate could begin, meaning they would consider starting your apprenticeship after completion of any current course you may be on with a start date of late June or July if required.
The postholder will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with Barred List.
