8 online sessions incl. masterclasses to demystify what it means to be 'on a board'. Boards of trustees support a charity in their decision making and make sure that they are staying true to their aims, and delivering on their promises.
This is a great, low commitment opportunity to learn more about how companies, organisations and charities in the theatre industry work, which will give you insight into how to navigate the theatre landscape as an artist, and nurture the next generation of arts leaders.
No prior training or knowledge is necessary!
We are actively seeking young creatives (16-25) who identify as: Black and/or Global Majority, d/Deaf and/or disabled, neurodivergent, LGBTQI+, migrant, and/or coming from a low-income background.
We will be flexible around schedules related to school, work and caring responsibilities. A £50 honorarium will be provided after each Quarterly attended, to make sure that you are not out of pocket for joining the sessions.
