NYMAZ is seeking motivated and dynamic individuals between the ages of 18-25 who are passionate about wanting the voices of young people to be heard. We want your fresh perspective and help to make a real contribution to the effectiveness of this vibrant charity, ensuring it is prepared for the future by supporting others in their involvement with the arts, and giving back to the community.
Why become a trustee? Currently only 3% of trustees in the UK are under the age of 30, and NYMAZ wants to challenge this by recruiting young people with ideas and enthusiasm to help bring about change. This is a huge opportunity to contribute to shaping positive futures for children and young people with the least opportunity, especially those in rurally-isolated areas. As a young trustee, you can make a real difference that can help countless others realise and achieve their musical potential, develop new skills and help them in their future careers.
Being a trustee will provide you with insight into how charities are run and developed, as well as providing a platform to get actively involved in discussions about future projects, directly contributing to NYMAZ’s work, as well as offering you valuable transferable skills for future employment.
