They are also working in collaboration with Waddington Street United Reformed Church (URC) and Durham University’s Curator for Contemporary Art. The residency will run from February 2023 until October 2023.
It includes a fixed rate commission (at a value of £3k-£4k), free accommodation (in the college), and flexible workspaces (working the equivalent of 1 day per week term-time).
They are open to applicants from any artistic discipline, but are particularly keen on a socially engaged practitioner who can work collaboratively to enable people to co-produce high quality artistic outputs.
The theme for the residency is INSPIRED.
