Marketing and Communications Assistant Opportunity

Edinburgh Playhouse are looking for a new Marketing and Communications Assistant!

Marketing and Communications Assistant Opportunity

Would you like to start your marketing career in an interesting, fun and growing company? Edinburgh Playhouse have an opportunity for a Marketing & Communications Assistant to join their team.

In this varied role you'll support the team to deliver creative and innovative marketing plans, collaborating with producers, promoters and agencies to attract audiences to their shows. You'll support a wide range of marketing and communications activity, from arranging traditional advertising opportunities, posters and print, to creating social media content or supporting marketing events in the local community. This is an ideal opportunity if you're looking for your first marketing role in a large organisation; as well as working locally, you'll be able to gain insight into the workings of the wider Ambassador Theatre Group marketing and communications functions, covering the entire international operation, and with 34 venues in the UK alone and offices in Woking and London, there's plenty of opportunity to progress your career with them.

Please take a look at the job description download for further details; if you have the skills to achieve their goals and an affinity for their values they'd like to hear from you! Experience in similar roles is not necessary and they actively encourage applications from people from the widest range of backgrounds, including those currently under-represented in this industry.

The theatres and cinemas are part of the Ambassador Theatre Group, an extraordinary success story in the live entertainment industry. Founded in 1992 in the UK, they've grown into the world’s number one live-theatre company today. They cover every discipline in the theatre industry, from operating venues to ticketing platforms and producing shows. They are passionate about great shows and their ambition is to help them find the largest possible audiences.

They aim to be an equal opportunity employer and strive to provide a stage for everyone. Onstage and off, they hold ourselves accountable for nurturing an inclusive culture.
