Relationship Manager, Music inc Education Hubs

Arts Council England is looking for a Relationship Manager, Music including Music Education Hubs, to join its busy London area team. They are particularly keen to hear from people with knowledge and experience in contemporary Black music genres and / or specialist knowledge and experience of one or more of London’s ethnically diverse grass roots musical communities.

In this role you will be responsible for investing in and developing a portfolio of Music and Music Education related organisations and individuals, as well as sharing your expertise across the whole range of artforms and disciplines supported by the Arts Council.   

You will have a commitment to diversity and inclusion. You will also need to be able to support others to make positive change, and be comfortable communicating with colleagues and external contacts at all levels.  

The role will involve advice giving, writing clear and concise reports, assessing projects, monitoring client performance, and undertaking financial and data analysis. Further training in all necessary skills will be given as part of your induction and on an ongoing basis.

Before the deadline they are holding 2x informal virtual drop-ins hosted by people currently working at ACE in similar roles where they will share what it’s like to work at the organisation and answer any questions people may have about the role. 

Relationship Managers come from lots of different backgrounds: musicians, composer / creators, performers, producers, administrators, from the broadcast / recording industry, venue managers, publishers and we are keen reach out to those who may not have considered a job at ACE before.
