Christmas is a time for.......Film Making!!
Excitement is building here at Film Expo South towers and we're not just talking about Christmas! With just 6 weeks to go, our little elves are dashing through the snow (OK, cut me some artistic slack), getting things ready for our big day on 4th February 2016.
With two more speakers signed up this week, http://www.filmexposouth.co.uk/speakers, the scene is set to host an amazing day of collaboration

Creativity Takes Confidence
Art is all about opinion. There is no right or wrong answer. But because of this, we as artists invest so much of ourselves into our work and to show that to the world can make you feel exposed and vulnerable. It's often hard to trust your opinion, that what you're creating is of a high quality, and it takes guts to share that work with others.

The Sawyer Studies
18-year-old Noah Altshuler works as playwright-in-residence at the Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford, Connecticut. An enormous Twain fan, the young writer has produced a set of three short plays based on the popular novel Tom Sawyer, published in 1876 and based largely on Twain's own youth.

Random Acts: A bit of the Journey
This blog was written by Puffin Ethics a young spoken word artist from Herefordshire.
I could probably write a small book about my experience making a film with the Rural Media company for this Random Acts Project, but I've tried really hard not to. I also tried hard not to open with a clique...obviously not hard enough. No one's got time for books anymore anyway, that's why you want to make a film, right? I'll try and keep it snappy. -

Working at Affinity Festival: Part 2
Throughout the week we had been working on making decorations for our area of the festival, the Space. Having spent weeks coming up with design ideas and sourcing materials, now was the time to put it into reality. Ola, myself and Leila had all been part of the same team working on this area.
