I think I realised pretty quickly that putting myself at risk by trying to have a good time with people I didn't really know, in a city that was still unfamiliar, was just....not worth it. Definitely important to bare safety in mind, even if you think you know who you're living with/studying with/going out with - I'm glad that message got across!

Such a good article about something I've never thought about, as someone who has never experienced asthma and didn't even know an asthma action plan existed! So glad you have the passion and knowledge to spread awareness of this and let people know it's important - hope to see you post more here! :)

Thank you for your lovely feedback Joshua! It’s such an important topic to spread awareness of, so I’m glad to get the opportunity here. I know of some of the links through my campaigning work with student societies about sexual violence, and the others I managed to find through a Google search to make sure I covered all the bases!

Thank you Kayt, I’m really pleased you enjoyed the post and that you agreed with the argument! I definitely wanted to cover lots of disabilities to show how many different people can be affected by lack of accessibility. Just knowing you have access to a platform can be empowering enough, and I’ll definitely continue to work with my advocacy for marginalised groups, especially through posts like these.
