  I love how our generation and those in the generation below us are saying No now! The generation above us was concerned and hmm and haahed about doing something but we are outright saying "the time to stop this is now". We are so aware of recycling and now movements like this are going out and actively removing the sins of the past to give us a better chance.

  We can't erase the damage we have already caused but we can give the environment the chance to come back. With groups like this re-planting Coral Reefs and giving back to the sea life and those of us on the land being more responsible with our waste products, we may have a fighting chance to save the earth for our children :)

  I totally agree Luke, the world has become overly PC and now no one can express themselves for fear of insulting someone. The problem is that all of these terms and words have become "offensive" to people because of the nature in which they were being used, not the words themselves. I am in no way trying to insult anyone or discriminate but I struggle to form sentences sometimes when it comes to "groups" of people because everyone is overly sensitive to the terms used.

  Yeah I mean don't get me wrong, I went to the gym a little at that age but it was because I was playing hockey and dancing and needed to work on my stamina. It was in support of getting better at an activity I enjoyed, not because I was scared people thought I was fat at that age.

  Thing is females often don't reach full physical maturity until they are 17 - 19 years old. Until then your body retains "baby fat" etc whilst you finish growing. Often boys are a little chubbier in youth and then they shoot upwards, get very tall and very skinny. Where girls don't often get as tall, they do have the same effect. However, by pushing yourself to have no body fat at the age of 13, you could potentially be causing some serious physical problems for yourself later.

  It should be about health and fitness, not about how skinny one can be... :(

  Definitely Sam :) So I hope that this article and the others like it will encourage more positive messages to be spread. The one thing that bugs me the most is when those who agree with the aggressive people don't do anything about the negativity because ultimately they are spreading the overall message but I think more positive and friendly, educational messages need to be shared instead of diet shaming :D

  Thanks @Sienna!! That's exactly my point, as with anything, let's make the promotion positive and watch the message spread :D
