What a fantastic final piece for all your hard work! It's brilliant to see how your illustration skills have been used in this piece - with each frame clearly being hand drawn, (I bet your hand ached after all those sketches!) You've managed to give the seal a real character and the sound track also ties in well with the subject matter. I look forward to reading your personal reflection on this project.

Wow Rose, what a powerful and deeply insightful review! Your writing is fluent, well structured and shows a depth of knowledge in terms of creative writing but also regarding the art forms you are critiquing.
Your review made me feel as if I was sitting next to you in the theatre and gives the reader a very thoughtful insight into the symbolism used and the meanings encoded in the production. From the costumes to the music you have taken the time to convey not only what was presented but what it may have meant to the audience and how it may have made them feel. You have certainly placed the reader in your shoes and it sounds as if this unique production really had a powerful impact upon you.
I particularly liked your end comment about the price of the tickets for future audiences - you identified a link in terms of class and affordability in accessing art forms such as theatre. An extremely poignant observation.
To say this was the 'best production' you've ever seen, shows the high regard you have for this experience as a whole and it certainly has made me want to see if the production will be available in the future.
Well done - just a brilliant review! -

Another wonderfully written review Odin - you are able to clearly communicate how this play made you feel and the impact it has had on you in reflecting upon experiences in your own life. It sounds as though the costumes and acting really reflecting the characters portrayed and it sounds as though the use of set/props/lighting gave it a magical experience. Once again it sounds as though you wouldn't recommend this version of a classic story for a younger audience because of the deep questions and emotions it deals with.

Wow Odin - what an eloquent and thoughtful review! You have really given us a taste for how this theatrical performance made you feel and impact it had on you. It was clearly very different from the classic Disney tale and intentionally so. It's great to see you have thought about how this show made you feel and how the different artistic elements, such as the costumes and the staging added to this performance. It sounds as if you would not recommend this event to young children, due to the controversial portrayal of some of the characters, however it sounds as though you would recommend this for an older audience who are open to questioning the status quo.
Thank you - what a brilliant review! -

Lovely Review and photos Charlotte! It's great to see that you were able to engage with Shakespeare's work through this play - which was a surprise to yourself! It seems as though you really enjoyed the costumes and visual elements of this event. How fantastic to know that this has now inspired you to join a Drama group and that you will take your reviewing skills with you in your future creative endeavours! This event clearly had a strong effect on you, despite being interupted by drones and other external factors.

Another fantastic review Rose!
Having not read the book this production is based on, your review has given me enough information to gain a real understanding of what I can expect from this play, without giving away all of the tiny details - giving me enough information to want to learn more about the book, the theatrical production and the author Neil Gaiman.
It's clear that you were impressed by level of arts involved and you described it as being an immersive experience. You've conveyed clearly that the performance was both very emotive and gave you a sense of fear - a powerful experience I'm sure.
Once again you've delved into the emotions and meanings portrayed by the cast and any reader of your review would find it useful if they hadn't had a chance to read the book before they saw the play and also to assess if they would think this performance may be too intense for a young audience.
Well done - another brilliant read!
