Rain, Rain go away so we can Rock another day

Review of the UK's No1 Tribute Festival. WV1 Fest

Last weekend was the UK’s No1 tribute festival, WV1 Fest, but although the artists were a snare short of full drum kit, their fans were out in full force. The weekend started off wet but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the thousands of fans ready to see their favorites, mud be damned! With wellies at the ready the day kicked off with the first of 30 of the UK’s best tribute acts, Mr Bon Jovi ( A Bon Jovi tribute band), Big hair and even bigger personality they took us from one legendary track to another while being careful not to slip in suede boots. What could be better? How about closing with another rock icon Queenesque! (A Queen tribute band) with aching legs and waning voices fans gave it their all making this year's festival one to remember.

Despite rock's edgy reputation reserved for the extreme metal heads this is truly a family affair with the festivals organisers stateing “We spare no expense in creating the best possible festival experience possible and deliver high production values in an extremely fun filled safe family environment. We attract like-minded festival revellers of all ages from all corners of the UK and beyond!” With an abundance of food options and exciting, colourful rides for the kiddies and friendly staff always happy to help, it truly is fun for the whole family. After the restrictions of the last few years, seeing such a large turnout for their debut back onto the festival scene ,after missing 2 years, cements their place in the rock community.

A wet, wild weekend full of talented bands, good food and shared memories. Very highly recommend grabbing your tickets for next year's big bash and bringing the whole family for an experience you won’t soon forget. Remember your mac!
