Beginning with a simplistic piano accompaniment and steadily progressing into a full orchestral crescendo, ‘Heavenly Hosts’ is an emotional and dynamic celebration of the wonder and power that Christmas time brings. Joel and Luke Smallbone (the pair who make up this Grammy-award winning duo) state declaratively at the song’s end that “love has come to save us” as the sky lights up in majesty and wonder.
for KING & COUNTRY has now seen five songs from A Drummer Boy Christmas hit the Billboard Holiday Digital Songs Chart, including the live staple “Little Drummer Boy”. This is the third time that the duo has placed a version of “Little Drummer Boy” on the Holiday Digital Songs chart. It seems that Christmas would truly be incomplete without the dulcet tones of this pious pair, and A Drummer Boy Christmas really should not be missed.
