If you're a fan of Gamble's Peacock and Gamble podcast, you'll know he's good. Even if you've never heard it, Gamble is undeniably funny. He bounds into the Gilded Balloon Counting House and assaults us with the misguided opinions against things he is all too guilty of himself.
With the presentation of more of a geezer of a comedian, his appeal comes in the difference between it and the ease with which he can spew poised, self-deprecating anecdotes and gags. The both shameful and shameless hypocrisy that shapes Stampede makes it difficult to compare him to another comic.
Cauliflower was the function of a re-surfaced joke, which, even when addressed ironically, did take too much time away from a set with some audacious and dark comedy. His profile is rising stratospherically and his comedy is made to pop up regularly on television.
His niche is a refreshing and welcome one. More variety and he's golden.
