Jess Robinson: The Rise of Mighty Voice

A unique, funny and energy-filled act, that will never cease to impress you.

Jess Robinson: The Rise of Mighty Voice

I was absolutely beside myself with excitement when I found out the premise of this show, and it is fair to say I loved every single second of the time I spent watching it. Jess is a complete superstar. She has a beautiful voice and an abundance of talent to go with it. Kirsty, who was on the keyboards and acted as a backing singer, is equally talented. As a pair, they seem to have an incredible skill whereby they just 'get' each other, and know exactly what the other is going to do.

Their performance had the audience laughing, clapping and in complete awe of their talents, and they got a rightly deserved standing ovation at the end. I love the fact that due to the nature of her show, she is unlikely to ever perform the same show twice. In this way, the breadth of her talent becomes even more clear, as having the ability to sing one song like a certain celebrity is one thing, but having the skill to sing any song like that celebrity is amazing.

I don't often see shows where I love every second, so this show was a great one for me. The hour I spent in Jess's show was probably the most fun I have had all week. It really was a feel-good show and I honestly loved every minute. Both Jess and Kirsty are truly talented, and they were an absolute joy to watch.
