Review of Theatre Production of Beauty and the Beast

I attended a theatre production of Beauty and the Beast in December with my family in

Tunbridge Wells, in Kent.

The costumes were beautiful, full of sparkles, and glitter. The stage was colourful and eye-

catching, and also very sparkly. The music and songs were catchy and we enjoyed it a lot.

However, some of the jokes were flat and not very funny, and it could have been abit shorter.

Some parts were too long and could have been taken out. I would love to go again, but just to a

shorter version. It was also very far away, in Tunbridge wells, so maybe next time we will try and

find one closer to where we live

Review of Robin Hood Pantomime

I also attended a production of Robin Hood with my family and some friends. It was a much

smaller stage than the beauty and the beast one, but much better overall. The jokes were funny

and the play was rehearsed well and very enjoyable. The costumes were a lot simpler than the

beauty and the beast play, sometimes just a top and trousers, which could have been made

more colourful and sparkly, but it was a much smaller theatre and much smaller audience.

There was also only one set background, whereas the beauty and the beast one had about 5 or

6, which changed with the scene. The robin hood panto was much closer to my home, so it was

a lot easier to get to, which I liked. I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but it was very

funny and I loved it. it was also much shorter, only 1.5 hours, which I appreciated. I would definitely go again.
