Since then, they have: released their debut album, fittingly named ‘Arrival’; toured around the UK supporting the likes of indie legends Scouting For Girls, and now they release a brand new single as well as announcing the release of their following album.
The new single, titled ‘Hello 2 You’ is a perfect introductory track to this classic-rock band. Offering up elements of their sound that they have spent the last few years refining, it also expands on their sound demonstrating the real potential of this band. With an upbeat and high-energy feel, ‘Hello 2 You’ fuses an almost funk feel with their iconic pop hooks.
If there were a band that I could pick that would be great to partner with Aliens, then it’s got to be someone like The Fratellis. Different enough that they’d complement each other well, but there’s something there that Aliens are easily capable of getting a crowd fully pumped up and ready based on this introductory snippet.
