On 14th July, I went to see Ed Sheeran in the Johan Cruijff Arena, Amsterdam!!!
This is Cat Burns. She was one of the warm-up acts. I thought she was very good!!!
Her music was Urban-Pop and she seemed very talented!!!
She played the guitar and sang!
This is Maisie Peters. She was the other warm-up act. She had similarities and differences to Cat Burns.
She played the guitar and sang, but she was performing more country/rock music unlike Cat Burns.
She was cool as well!!! Her keyboard player appeared again later to play the violin in Ed Sheeran's song, "Galway Girl".
This is the stage!!! It had so much, for example, the screens in the shape of plectrums with = signs!!!
= is the name of Ed Sheeran's fairly new album that came out in 2021!
The middle of the stage was a lifting drum with the place Ed Sheeran (And Cat Burns and Maisie Peters) ROTATING Underneath it!!! There were LOADS of speakers in the stadium and it was loud!!!!!
I thought Ed Sheeran was REALLY GOOD!!!!!!
Ed Sheeran was extremely nice(the way he was talking to the people there), clever(especially on "Shivers" & "2step", when he played some chords on his guitar and looped them!), talented(the whole time!!!), resilient, brave, he seemed like he was just going for it, also, I was worried he wouldn't play "Shape Of You" because it was near the end and he hadn't! I was also worried he wouldn't play "Bad Habits" for the same reason!!!
This was SO good and I liked it so much that I recommend you to see it live yourself! Even if you're not an Ed Sheeran fan(But you are obviously! Everyone is!), you'll LOVE it!
