ALBUM PREVIEW: for KING & COUNTRY 'What Are We Waiting For?' (March 11th)

Now based in LA, the Christian pop/rock sibling duo For King & Country have had some notable achievements over the last few years, signed to Curb | World Entertainment, the pair have gone on to win Multiple Grammy’s and becoming Platinum selling artists. The Australian pop/rock duo are now moving on to release their fourth studio album, ‘What Are We Waiting For?’. The 13 track record, which will be released on the 11th of March, delves into the prominent issues that accompanies an infesting world-wide pandemic and accentuates the importance of the people around you.

Among the 13 celestial tracks, features the already released singles ‘Unsung Hero’, ‘For God Is With Us’, the album’s lead single ‘RELATE’ which hit No.1 on multiple Christian charts, as well as ‘Love Me Like I Am’, the third single that is a reviving pop marvel. An optimistically centred pop track that gratifyingly values the tranquil consolation of an unconditional love. With incredibly diverse features from the likes of Sleeping At Last, Dante Bowe, Tori Kelly and Kirk Franklin, For King & Country have created a sonically transcendent record that celebrates and cherishes love and family in an era filled with unprecedented uncertainty. Paired with the album the duo have released two visceral music videos for their singles, ‘Unsung Hero’ and ‘Love Me Like I Am’ which really begin to highlight the devotion and passion the brothers have for their craft.

Whats been particularly beautiful about this album is that we were able to be home with our families while making it,” share Luke and Joel Smallbone. “We cannot wait to now take more new songs on the road, to see you out there and make new memories with you all!”

For King & Country have come along way in maturity since the renowned release of their debut album Crave back in 2012. It is clear to see that they are at the height of their power, as they personify this new devotional body of work that is constructed of operatic, elysian, synth pop but is still rooted with their vivid christian pop/gospel sensibilities. The 11th of March is the date that everyone needs to save to their calendars in preparation for this sensational wonder.
