The Foyer Federation is seeking a number of Trustees aged 18-25 to represent the views of young people at the highest level of the organisation.
This is a voluntary role that gives you an opportunity to be part of a national organisation that speaks out about issues affecting young people experiencing homelessness. It’s a fantastic time to join the charity as they begin working on their new three-year strategy, which focuses on youth leadership, quality and impact, influence, and community. As well as gaining experience at an executive and strategic level, you will increase your contacts and broaden your view of the youth and homelessness sectors while supporting the Foyer Federation to grow.
Each member of the board brings valuable skills, knowledge and experience to the running of the charity – and so will you. They are looking for a Trustee with experience of at least one of the following:
Activism
Campaigning
Community organising
Research and impact
As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in making sure their beneficiaries’ interests are at the heart of our work. You don’t need to have any previous experience in a Trustee role or similar – they will provide you with training, mentoring and guidance to support you in this important role.
