We want your short films to showcase in our first Winter Film Festival!

Submit your videos for the Voice Winter Film Festival!

A key part of the work we love to do here at Voice is to showcase gripping and innovative digital media with our readers. To that end, we are really excited to announce that we’re going to be running a winter film festival, where we will be hosting and showcasing short films and the artists behind them, and we want your help to do so!

If you are a film-maker and have produced something over 2020, or previously that you want to share more widely, then you should definitely consider submitting to our showcase.

We are looking for short films about an array of topics, with particular interest for those that are socially relevant, have a focus on young people, or are exploring under-represented topics. These films should be a max of 20 minutes and be available to view on YouTube or Vimeo.

The deadline for submissions will be 31 December, and if your film is chosen we will host it on our homepage for three days and promote it on our social channels. We will also invite you to answer a Q&A, and create a landing page that groups together all featured films.

To be considered, please send your submissions to [email protected] with the subject line ‘Voice Film Festival’. Please include a link to your video, and up to 100 words outlining what it’s about.

We aim to get back to you within three days of submission to let you know if you have been successful.
