New Material in Nottingham with Livity and Channel 4

Looking to get into a film or TV career? If you're 16-25, head over to Nottingham on Saturday 12th October.

New Material in Nottingham with Livity and Channel 4

New Material is an event designed for young people, by young people in collaboration with Livity and Channel 4.

More than just a careers fair; New Material is an opportunity to learn about what the media industry is and what it actually involves. A place where you can develop the right skills needed to kickstart your career, figure out which job roles suit you and hear it first from the young people already smashing it in the industry.

With a mix of panel discussions which feature local young people and the Channel 4 stars from behind the scenes, interactive workshops, networking sessions and live performances, you’ll definitely leave with more than just flyers and a few free pens.

You’ll also be introduced to Channel 4’s apprenticeships, work experience, training and talent schemes, aimed at young people with little to no experience through to those with graduate degrees.

Who? For those aged 16-25.

When? 12pm - 6pm, Saturday 12th October 2019

Where? Stealth, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham
