Production Intern

About the Role:

Production Assistants will support the VB Core Team and Opera Production Team with tasks including (but not limited to):

• Preparing the grounds for rehearsals and performances
  • Setting up installations and sports activities in the grounds
  • Setting up and arranging audience furniture (chairs, marquees etc.)
• Helping the Opera Production Team set up the stage and run the show
  • Assisting the Stage Manager with calling the opera
  • Cueing show surtitles
• Picking up and dropping off artists and other contractors at train stations
• Communicating with external contractors, artists, ushers, volunteers and audiences
• Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed and implemented

Who You Are:

• Energetic, positive and focused
• Good time management skills; able to prioritise effectively
• Extremely reliable communicator & reachable at all times whilst on-site
• Wanting to gain experience of producing projects, events and theatre productions
• Willing to be an active participant in promoting VB's Charity Mission
• Licensed UK driver
• Owner of (or access to) a car (preferable, not a requirement)
• Ability to read music (preferable, not a requirement)
