Stage One - Regional Producer Placement Scheme

Stage One launched the regional producer placement scheme in 2013 in order to increase communication and shared knowledge across the subsidised and commercial sectors.

Stage One - Regional Producer Placement Scheme

How does it work?

Each year, Stage One partners with 4 subsidised houses across the UK to recruit, train and support 4 talented producers through a year-long fully funded placement scheme. Emerging producers will have the opportunity to apply for a placement at one or all venues and following successful shortlist from Stage One will have the opportunity to interview with the theatre’s producing team. The producer will have the opportunity to assist in producing high quality, potentially commercial work learn of the challenges and opportunity of working in a theatre venue.
