Producing Assistant

Love to ensure everything is running smoothly? Super organised with great admin skills?

Join Apples and Snakes as their Producing Assistant -  an exciting early career opportunity for a super organised administrator to support the Artistic Director and Producers, with the smooth delivery of the company’s projects & events during our 40th year celebrations.

Apples and Snakes is England’s leading organisation for performance poetry and spoken word, with an international reputation for producing engaging and transformative work.

Their mission is: to champion poets and poetry, amplify unheard voices and challenge expectations of what poetry can be.

They are an inclusive and flexible employer working across the country. They mostly work remotely (although we have office space at The Albany, Deptford that can be used) with regular team meetings in London.

They are dedicated to ensuring equity for all. They actively encourage applications from people belonging to all protected groups; reflecting the artists and communities we work with. As an organisational priority they are developing strands of work to challenge anti-blackness and they particularly welcome applicants of African or Caribbean heritage.
