New Work Administrator

They are looking for an Administrator (Assistant to Heads of Department) join their New Work department. 

This role presents a unique opportunity to gain a 360-degree view of the workings of the National and specifically how they develop new work.  

The role has two main areas of responsibility including PA duties to Head of Play Development and Head of Studio and Department Administration. 

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Exceptional administrative skills with some experience in theatre and knowledge and passion for development of new work. 

  • Relevant experience in a personal assistant role to a senior member of staff, including complex diary management. 

  • A high standard of written English, and experience of producing fast, accurate work to a high level of presentation with the ability to correct own work with good attention to detail  

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with an ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to tight deadlines.    

  • Resourceful, proactive and able to problem-solve with a can-do attitude.

Contract: Full-time, 35 hours, Permanent, £28,000 per annum
