Actors for North Yorkshire Panto

Same Difference is putting together Cinderella Pantomime for touring over North Yorkshire over Christmas 2022. 

This will be a comedy Children's pantomime with traditional singing and dancing involved. This will be a 3-hander, multi rolling script. 

They are looking for performers with pantomime or comedy experience, Children's theatre, street theatre, improvisation or clown. This will be a fast-paced energised show, sometimes physically demanding.

Please only apply if you are available for 90% of the rehearsal dates and the majority of the tour dates. They are prioritising local actors based in Leeds/ Bradford and North Yorkshire area who can easily get to Leeds or the tour locations for early starts. They are unable to pay re-location costs.

They are also ideally looking for drivers who can happily share driving the van for the tour between the cast.

Same Difference Arts aims to recruit talented people from all backgrounds. We particularly encourage applications from minority groups currently under-represented in the cultural sector. 

Rehearsals:

19-21 July (3 days devising)

14-18th November (5 days of rehearsals)

Provisional rehearsal dates:

17-21st October

14 Confirmed Tour dates:

15TH – 18TH December (4)

20th-23rd December (4)

27th-30th December  (4)

2nd-3rd January (2)

provisional tour dates:

December 1-3rd (3)

December 8th-10th  (3)

4-5th January (2)

Fees:  Rehearsals are paid at £100 per day and Tour days are £120 per day (drivers) £110 per day (for non-drivers).

The auditions will be on the 8th June at Slung Low Leeds
