Submissions for our second Winter Film Festival are now open

The Voice Winter Film Festival is coming back, and submissions are now open until December 20. We cannot wait to see what you have all created!

Submissions for our second Winter Film Festival are now open

Last year, we hosted our first-ever Winter Film Festival, featuring nine films from budding filmmakers all over the country. After its great success, we are BACK for another winter, and we want your submissions.

Film is such a great way for artists to express themselves, and here at Voice, we are passionate about giving young people the platform to express their creativity.

There is no theme to the film festival, so you will have complete creative freedom over what you choose to submit.

A few things to note

We are looking for short films about an array of topics, with a particular interest in the socially relevant, and those that focus on young people or explore under-represented topics. These films should be a max of 20 minutes and be available to view on YouTube or Vimeo.

The deadline for submissions will be December 20, and if your film is chosen, we will host it on our homepage for three days and promote it on our social channels. We will also invite you to answer a Q&A featured on a landing page that groups together all featured films.

Voice reaches thousands of young people and creative organisations every month, so we are a great platform to help you get your work noticed!

To be considered, please send your submissions to [email protected] with the subject line ‘Voice Winter Film Festival’. Please include a link to your video and up to 100 words outlining what it’s about.

We aim to get back to you within a week of submission to tell you if you have been successful.

Good luck, and we look forward to seeing what you have created!
