Announcing new subsidised training in youth voice

Upstart Projects, the charity who run our popular online magazine and the Arts Award Alumni Network are pleased to offer unique training on embedding youth voice thanks to a grant from the Social Investment Business.

Announcing new subsidised training in youth voice

The training is available as an in-house course (which could be shared with local partners) and some planned public training dates.  It will feature a core module about Youth Voice and a selection from our optional modules covering topics including: Engaging Digitally, Young Ambassadors or Co-Producing Events.

Why is the training unique?

  • All training will be co-delivered by an experienced trainer and a young trainer
  • All public training includes a free place for a young person for every adult booked on
  • You choose which optional modules to run; even on Public Training attendees can vote for which module to experience
  • All modules will be available FREE to attendees as online training modules too

Thanks to our funding, the Upstart Projects team have developed all new materials & training programmes building on our years of experience and involving young people in the test & development process.  This current period of training is offered at a greatly reduced rate, and encourages participants to feedback further so we can continue to create exciting & impactful training tailored to those that want it.

Our in-house training can be designed for one organisation, or a collective of local partners (great for hubs or groups of LCEPS) delivered at a location, time and date to suit you.

Our public training costs just £59+VAT for a half-day session (that includes an adult AND young person) and is available in Birmingham on 21 May and London on 5 June.
