Brighton Fringe kicks off on 6th May, and offers over 900 events, from cabaret, to theatre, comedy and dance. We'll be heading to Brighton ourselves to bring you the very best from the Fringe, in the meantime, we chatted to Julian Caddy, Managing Director for the festival.

What goes on at...Life and Deaf

Where are they now?...with Dan Ponting
Dan Ponting was part of Arts Award's Gold pilot scheme over ten years ago. He has since completed a Fine Art degree, had work shown in Tate Modern and won a Royal Photographic Society competition. He currently works as a graphic designer.

Adviser's view: Luna Russell, Chichester Festival Theatre
Luna has a degree in Theatre and Arts Management, her experience in the Arts sector includes project and event management, arts funding and strategic planning. She has worked for Theatre Royal Plymouth, small scale theatre companies and led on Arts and Drama programmes for local authorities.
