"There's a bit in The Dark Knight where the Joker burns a pile of cash. If that scene looked appealing to you, then come on up to Edinburgh. If not, then you're not ready for it - and are therefore a healthy person."

Gabby Killick is bringing her show GAME OF THONGS to Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Gabby talks to us about her love for Britney, what she’d be doing if she wasn’t a comedian, and offers some great advice to future comedians.

"It’s a big and interesting topic, but I suspect you’re asking if I think you should be able to keep a Netflix deal after getting your old lad out in a dressing room? Which isn’t as interesting or nuanced a topic."

"Well since this show has been cancelled eight times, yes, I approach all shows now with a large dose of scepticism. Every time I get on stage, I’m relieved rather than stressed."

We spoke to Stephan R Cole member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers about his experiences within a union.

"We did a lot of stuff in secret because my parents worked many long hours and that gave us an early insight into hustling for what it is you want and finding an alternative route."

"I work part-time at a PR firm, and although it might not be wise for me to share that in terms of my career, I think it’s important to reduce the stigma around having day jobs in the arts."

"We spend so much time overthinking everything. You don’t need permission, or an agent or a big flashy stage - you can literally perform in a toilet at the Edinburgh Fringe. Ask yourself what’s stopping you and go for it."

"There are no spoken words in the show and we deliberately don’t present political ideas during the show. We want something that is fun and refreshing and in some ways an escape from this world that seems so politically divided."
