Why have ballet and contemporary dance become associated with girls over the years? And are things changing?

Khariis is a professional dancer, who is beginning to get into contemporary dance.

He thinks things are definitely opening up for males in all forms of dance now, where ballet and contemporary is used more and more as a great form of expression, whatever your gender.
