With Whom on Zoom: Mark C. Hewitt and Marta Carvahlo

Lauren is joined by Mark C. Hewitt and Marta Carvahlo, who talk about their Brighton Fringe show “Labyrinth," which will be showing at Brighton Fringe from May 25-29.

In this With Whom on Zoom episode, Mark C. Hewitt and Marta Carvahlo talk about their Brighton Fringe show “Labyrinth.” Labyrinth was originally written for and performed by Carvahlo in Portuguese. The show has since been translated into English and adapted by Hewitt and Carvahlo.

The show is a one-woman show that tells the story of a woman after ending a toxic relationship. The first line of the show is “Today I Killed a Man,” but it is never explicitly stated if she actually killed a man or is killing the things inside her that have been holding her back; it is left up to the audience to interpret.

According to Hewitt, the show has been described as bold, thought-provoking, profound and risky.
