Joseph is celebrated by Trinity for Progress in Classical and Jazz.

Joseph was nominated by his teacher his progress with the Tuba in Classical and Jazz. They said 'Joseph is a committed member of Aylesbury Music Cente and has worked hard over the last year to develop his playing. For taking up the tuba in September 2018 as a completely new instrument and preparing for, and passing, his grade 5 exam within the year.'

In what ways would you say your Classical and Jazz qualification has influenced your artistic achievement, creativity, leadership or progress? 

The Trinity qualification will make me progress more into my music and I am developing a role in leadership.

How has participating in a Classical and Jazz qualification impacted your artistic skills or career development?

The involvement in the Trinity made me humbler and think more of how the music is played.

What's next for you?

Doing my grade 6 in the Summer.

What are your career aims? 

My aim is to join a professional orchestra or teach others.

Have you got any advice for other young people working towards a Classical and Jazz qualification?

My advice is for the younger ones is to keep practicing and treat your errors as something that you need to improve on.
