On a night out, a girl overdoses at an underground rave. Unfolding in reverse chronology, ‘Rave’ traces the events of the night back to the beginning, revealing the intertwining stories of the people involved, including Jade whose night takes an unexpected turn after she finds herself alone at a rave.

About the filmmaker

Her screenwriting debut WITHOUT WARNING (2021) premiered at the BFI London and has since been screened across the UK as part of TAPE Collective's short film programme as well as winning Lift-Off’s First Time Filmmaker Session. With RAVE, Emily combined her love for experimenting with the film format in terms of both style and structure as a writer and director.
