About this event

Starts: Friday 10 July 2020 1:00 PM

Ends: Friday 10 July 2020 1:30 PM

Theatre-maker and choreographer Rhiannon Faith will be joining us live at 1pm this Friday to chat about her most recent project Drowntown Lockdown. You can find out more about Rhiannon Faith's work on her website

Drowntown Lockdown is a digital prologue film in which we meet the cast of Drowntown in their own homes before they leave for the main setting of the show. Loneliness, involuntary isolation and the difficulty of leaving the how are explored in this poignant piece.

The main piece, Drowntown, explores social exclusion and isolation in areas of social deprivation and how Covid-19 has both increased and highlighted these issues. Drowntown would have been touring currently if theatred had not closed due to the pandemic. Instead, Drowntown will be screened on Thursday July 9 at 8pm here and a physical tour has been postponed until 2021.

Don't forget to DM us your questions or you can ask them live in the stream. Follow our Instagram to make sure you don't miss out. See you Friday!
