Margo Roe has been working in the film industry for the last 5 years, gaining funding from Chanel 4, BBC Arts, Creative England and the BFI Network. Margo is currently developing project that combine movement with narrative story telling.

Join us for a LIVE demonstration and interview with Margo Roe on Instagram, then head over to Zoom for a half hour skills share from Margo herself! 

  • 12.30pm: LIVE demonstration from Margo Roe and an interview on Instagram
  • 1.00pm: Workshop from Margo Roe on Zoom exploring: Choreographing for the camera and how to bridge the gap between narrative and movement.

About Margo Roe

1dfa519a9238b65e0dc992678d45516320934ab0.pngMargo Roe is a Writer/ Director/ Choreographer from the Midlands. Having trained at Birmingham Royal Ballet Associates programme she then went onto study Dance and Drama at the University of Lincoln. After co-directing a physical theatre piece at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2014, Margo decided to transfer from theatre to film. Margo’s recent short film ‘Searching for Cowardice’ was created as part of the BBC New Creatives programme and broadcast as part of BBC4’s Female Filmmakers screening. Margo is now in Post- Production for her BFI Midlands Short film ‘POP’.
