Virtual Village Hall Theatre: the Tale of Litttle Bevan

About this event

Starts: Wednesday 6 May 2020 9:00 AM

Ends: Saturday 9 May 2020 7:30 PM

The Tale of Little Bevan is a fantastic professional theatre piece created by rural touring theatre company Pentabus, co-commissioned by Creative Arts East and written by playwright Robert Alan Evnas. The team worked with some of CAE's rural promoters and communities across Norfolk and Suffolk, listening to their experiences, thoughts and concerns about living in rural villages in the 21st century.

How can I get involved?

You can watch via YouTube or Facebook on Saturday 9th May at 7.30pm.

Creative Arts East would love to hear your thoughts on the production and engage in a conversation surrounding rural life. Feel free to comment your thoughts on the Facebook event.

"In a peaceful Norfolk village three people are seeking happiness. But as the harvest moon fills and the party begins, ancient forces are brought to life. While Tony and Mike get trapped in the tunnels below the village, Gill’s plan for revenge turns sour. A darkly comic journey through 24 hours in the life of a village called Little Bevan, this new play by award-winning playwright, Robert Alan Evans promises live music, storytelling, and the spirit of a 10th century saint."
