Monday 2 – Friday 6 March 2020
Our next CLAY Museum workshop will look to the local women of Stoke-on-Trent as inspiration for a day of activities that link to a number of key curriculum areas, including:
-English
-History
-Citizenship
This will include social activists, such as Fanny Deakin, and prominent ceramic artists, like Clarice Cliff. In the run up to International Women’s Day the students will learn all about significant local women through the collections at the Museum and hands-on artist-led workshops with clay.
In addition, students who participate in this full day workshop can also earn an Arts Award Explore.
Travel Bursaries are also available to help with transport costs.
