DissFest: Shortstuff, Emma King and Richie Spence

DissFest' is a community arts festival happening in the small town of Diss, Norfolk, East Anglia. It's running between the 29th and the 31st July 2016, consisting of a range of activities from theatre and photography to film and live music, and it's been organized by the arts company Unit Twenty Three.

Blues guitar and vocal duo Shortstuff are about to release their debut album after over forty years on the road! Veterans of the Cambridge Folk Festival and resident artists at the legendary Half Moon, Putney.

Emma King's blossoming music career has already taken her from Northern England to Tennessee, touring Europe and receiving 5-star reviews along the way. After being awarded a music scholarship by Carleen Anderson (Brand New Heavies, god-daughter of James Brown), Emma's live performances in England and Germany gained her fans in America's roots music scene and, after a number of return trips, she moved to Nashville, TN.
