Voice is excited to announce that we will be returning to Mozfest House again this year to run a session on the changing landscape of the media.
Following our successful workshop on thriving as a commentator with Rants & Bants, this year we want to look at the news cycle, and how social media is influencing the way in which users engage with information.
Where is the line between news and opinion? Can you ever trust news gathered from social media? Are these platforms responsible for the content shared on them? What is the impact to democracy?
Join us to discuss this with a panel of experts in this interactive session that will be great for anyone thinking about becoming a journalist or interested in the changing role and impact of social media.
Our panelists include representatives from the BBC, The Voice Newspaper, Nottingham Trent University & Open News (based in the USA)
