Isabel Meyrelles (Paris) and Santiago Ribeiro (Coimbra) present, as
Guest artists, between July and September, at the 28th “Salão Internacional Góis/Oroso Arte” (Portugal and Galicia). This invitation was made by Machado Lopes, one of those responsible for the event.
Leading exponents of the Surrealist movement, both have proven that all Art always seeks an inner root, but open doors to the freedom to explore this world...
Maria Isabel Sobral Meyrelles was born in 1929 in the city of Matosinhos and lives in Paris. She continues to dream of Art and Writing as references and a lit “pipe” as a benevolent “anesthesia”.
José Manuel Santiago Ribeiro was born in 1964 in Coimbra and lives in this city, contributing to Surrealism remaining as the maximum expression of total freedom of the spirit and everything that may resemble it.
